Mississippi’s SLDS is a comprehensive tool that improves the lives of Mississippians by informing policymaking and advancing our understanding of the complex forces that drive economic and workforce development.

Data from various state agencies, including workforce development, education, and human services, are provided to the state data clearinghouse managed by Mississippi State University’s NSPARC.

The SLDS is governed by a board of representatives from all the agencies that contribute data to the system, ensuring that the system is responsive to the needs of all stakeholders.
